    An annual climber that produces purple bell-shaped flowers. Blooms in our areas from late August until the first night frost. Put the seeds on their side when you put them in the ground. This results in better germination because stagnant moisture then cannot cause mold.

    Sowing Instructions
    This Cobaea or bellweed has large, flat seeds. Place the seeds on their side in the ground and push them a little deeper. This will keep moisture away from the seeds and prevent them from going moldy. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Put the seeds in a warm place, which they need to germinate smoothly.
