    Dark red doveweed that is usually an annual and does well as a garden plant, but also has very fine picking qualities. Popular with pollinators and flower arrangers.

    Sowing instructions
    Scabiosa or pigeon herb is a light germinator. So you do not cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Place the seeds, which are like small badminton feathers, on the soil, press lightly and water. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Sow in pots or seed trays, or sow directly in the open ground. Scabiosa germinates after an average of 7 to 10 days in the right conditions.
