Sowing instructions
You can sow Lathyrus in either autumn or spring. In autumn, start them in P9 pots, overwinter them in the greenhouse, and plant them out in the garden from March onwards. They can withstand temperatures down to -5 degrees, so they're quite hardy. Sow again in early spring from January and February, and once more in March. This way, you can stagger the flowering season. Lathyrus is a dark germinator, so the seeds should be covered with a layer of soil.
