Climbing courgette 'Ola Escaladora'
Ever heard of climbing courgettes? What a discovery, if you are short of space to grow the classic variety. The dark green fruits are deliciously soft. A climbing structure is needed.
Sowing instructions
Courgettes are dark germinators, so you may put the seeds 3 to 4 centimetres deep in the soil. Pre-sow them in pots from April or sow them directly in the garden after the frosts. Beware of snail droppings. Place the seeds on their side in the soil, this way no water will stagnate on them and you will avoid rot.
