White scabiosa with very impressive and large flowers. Beautiful in the border, but also a coveted flower in the picking garden. Keeps well at vase and is also a bee and bumblebee magnet in the garden.
Sowing instructions
Scabiosa or doveweed is a light germinator. So you don't cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Place the seeds, which are like little badminton tufts, on the ground, press lightly and water. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Pre-sow in pots or seed trays, or sow directly in the garden. Scabiosa germinates after an average of 7 to 10 days under the right conditions.
