Alcea rosea 'chater's salmon pink'

One of many favorites of mine. Beautiful salmon color, double flowers and a must-have in any garden. Eye-catcher for the border.

Sowing Instructions
Biennial hollyhock is sown during the summer months, to be planted out in the garden in the fall. The flowers then appear the following year. Hollyhock is a light germinator. So it's best not to cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Instead, lay the seeds shallowly, pressing lightly so there is contact with the soil and making sure the soil stays moist - not wet. Give the seeds some time, they take an average of 2 to 3 weeks to germinate.
