    Of cucumberweed, also called borage, you can eat the blue or white flowers. The leaves are also edible and possess a slight cucumber flavor. In addition, the plant is highly sought after by bees and bumblebees.

    Sowing Instructions
    Cucumberweed is a light germinator. You better not cover the seeds with a layer of soil unless very fine. Press lightly so there is contact with the soil, keep moist, but not wet and wait about 7 to 10 days. This is when the first seeds will actually germinate. You can pre-sow, or sow directly in the open ground.
