    Purple basil with a very fine aroma. Comes back quickly after each cutting. The flowers the plant produces are also edible and delicious in salads. Can also be kept in a pot.

    Sowing Instructions
    Basil has very small seeds and is a light germinator for that reason. So it is better not to cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Sow the seeds shallowly and press lightly. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Basil needs heat. So sow indoors in a bright place, or when it is warm enough in the greenhouse.
