    Mustard leaf is a cabbage crop whose young leaves you eat. The taste is spicy and sweet. You can pick individual leaves, or wait to harvest heads. Ideal plant for winter and spring.

    Sowing Instructions
    Mustard leaf, also called mustard lettuce, is a light germinator. The seeds may be covered with a very thin layer of soil. Better still is to spread the seeds superficially and lightly press them so that there is contact with the soil. Mustard leaf is not a lettuce, but it is related to cabbage. You can pre-sow in trays or seed trays, or sow directly in the field.
