Matthiola iron 'apricot'

Perhaps my most favorite summer viola there is. Beautiful apricot-colored flowers that are at times a touch pink. Good picking flower.

Sowing Instructions
Summer violet is a light germinator. The seeds prefer not to be covered with a layer of soil. They need sunlight to germinate. Pre-sow in pots or seed trays, or sow in the open ground starting in late April and early May. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The seeds germinate after an average of 10 days.
