Matthiola incana 'early iron marine'

Soft purple summer viola that forms beautiful, large flowers, making it very suitable as a pick flower for bouquets. Double flowers that smell deliciously sweet.

Sowing Instructions
Summer violet is a light germinator. The seeds prefer not to be covered with a layer of soil. They need sunlight to germinate. Pre-sow in pots or seed trays, or sow in the open ground starting in late April and early May. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The seeds germinate after an average of 10 days.
