Alcea rosea 'spring celebrity lilac'

Low-growing, semi-double hollyhock in the color lilac. Blooms already in the first year after sowing. Suitable for the border, but also nice in a pot.

Sowing Instructions
Sow annual hollyhock in early spring so you will see flowers that same year. Hollyhock is a light germinator. So you better not cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Instead, lay the seeds shallowly, pressing lightly so there is contact with the soil and making sure the soil stays moist - not wet. Give the seeds some time, they take an average of 2 to 3 weeks to germinate.
