Lathyrus odoratus 'Spencer Nimbus'

Perhaps my favorite sweet pea of the moment. The flowers are mauve/blue and a touch purple - just like eggplants. Clear veins in the flowers, very sweet fragrance.

Sowing Instructions
Lathyrus can be sown in autumn or spring. In the fall you pre-sow them in P9 pots, overwinter them in the greenhouse to plant out in the garden in the spring starting in March. They can take up to - 5 degrees, so can take a beating. Sow in early spring from January and February and again in March. That way you spread the flower harvest. Lathyrus is a dark germinator, the seeds may be covered with a layer of soil.
