Perennial lupine with burgundy flowers that take on a pink glow when finished. Beautiful large flowers, sturdy plant. Highly sought after by bumblebees, among others.
Sowing instructions
Lupins are light germinators. You should not cover the seeds with soil, if at all. Pre-sow in seed trays or containers, or go straight outdoors in the open ground. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Lupines germinate quite well, but give them time. It can take 2-3 weeks for them to germinate.
