Dahlia pinnata 'Dandy Improved Mix'

This dahlia mix features open flowers of the Collarette type. Semi-double and therefore fantastic for bees and bumblebees. A surprising mix of colors.
Sow in spring, lift after the first frost. Dahlia seedlings also form a tuber that you can overwinter.

Sowing Instructions
Dahlias are easy germinators. They are light germinators, so it's best not to cover them too much with soil. A thin layer is fine, but it's even better to lay the seeds on the surface and press them lightly. Place the seeds on their side so water doesn't pool on them. Keep them moist, but not wet. Don't sow dahlias too early, as they grow incredibly fast. Starting from mid to late March is perfect.
