    Sowing Instructions
    Scabiosa or doveweed is a light germinator. So you don't cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Place the seeds, which are like little badminton feathers, on the ground, press lightly and water. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Pre-sow in pots or seed trays, or sow immediately in the open ground. Scabiosa germinates after an average of 7 to 10 days under proper conditions.
