Pot Helena

The scalloped clay rim along the top of this beautiful "Helena" gives it a soft and classic appearance.

North of Rome, in the Lazio region, lies the small town of Di Bolsena, once bustling with potters and home to Roberto Rosso, one of Italy's greatest potters. Inspired by ancient Greek designs, Rosso crafted pottery with distinctive clay rims, a popular feature throughout the 1800s. Captivated by the idea of a decorative edge, Steffen Berg created this "Helena" with its remarkable scalloped rim to achieve a soft yet classically styled flowerpot.

Each pot is handcrafted and comes with a matching saucer, specially treated to be non-porous, making it suitable for indoor use. Each pot is fired at high temperatures, ensuring it is also frost-resistant.
