    This variety has purple stems and glossy green leaves. The taste is aniseed-like and is often used in Asian dishes. Thai basil is strong and can therefore be grown outdoors.

    Sowing instructions
     Basil has very small seeds and is therefore a light germinator. It is therefore better not to cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Sow the seeds superficially and press lightly. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Basil needs warmth. So sow indoors in a light spot, or when it is warm enough in the greenhouse.
