    This Penstemon, also called snakehead, has coral pink flowers. Beautiful in the border, but also suitable for picking. Perennial that returns every year.

    Penstemon is a light germinator. You do not cover the seeds with soil, because they need sunlight to germinate. Sow in pots or seed trays, or start outside immediately. Keep the soil moist, but not wet.
