Zinnia elegans 'Lime with Blotch'

A mix of zinnias in a green, lemon yellow and pink hue. Very distinctive and very suitable as a picking flower because of its long vase life. Pick only when the flowers are firm to the touch, otherwise they won't keep for long.

Zinnias are light germinators. It's better not to cover the seeds with soil. Lay the seeds shallowly over the soil, press lightly and keep moist, but not wet. Zinnias need warmth. Sow indoors at a temperature of 20 to 22 °C or sow outdoors from May - when the icy days are over. It takes about 10 to 14 days for the first seeds to germinate. The warmer they germinate, the faster everything goes.
