Pumpkin 'Musquée de Provence'
Very pretty, but mostly tasty butternut squash with fairly large and ribbed fruits. The colour is ochre with often a hint of cinnamon. Beautiful pumpkin that keeps well after a hot summer. Highly recommended!
Sowing instructions
Pumpkins are dark germinators and should be put into the ground about 3 centimetres deep. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Pre-sow in pots, leave them in them as they do not like to be transplanted. Or sow them directly in the garden after the frosts. Watch out for snails, they eat the young plants.
