Pot Helena - low

The scalloped clay edge along the top of this beautiful 'Helena' gives it a soft and classic look. This version is low and therefore very nice to combine with the slightly higher ones. Great for sowing, but also for arranging herbs, strawberries and flowers.

North of Rome, in the Lazio region, lies the small town of Di Bolsena, once filled with potters and home to Roberto Rosso, one of Italy's greatest potters. Inspired by ancient Greek designs, Rosso created pottery with distinctive clay edges, a popular feature during the 1800s. Fascinated by the idea of a decorative rim, Steffen Berg created this 'Helena' with the remarkable scalloped rim to achieve a soft but classic-looking flower pot.

Each pot is handmade and comes with a matching trivet, which is impermeable to water due to a special treatment and can therefore be used indoors. Each pot was fired under high temperatures and is therefore also frost-resistant.
