This annual ornamental grass, also called canary grass, is a very nice filler for bouquets. Grows very easily and combines well in just about any border/shrub garden.
Sowing instructions
Phalaris is a light germinator. The seeds are small, need light to germinate and should not be covered with a layer of soil for this reason. Pre-sow in trays or seed trays, or immediately in the open outdoors. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Phalaris or canary seed germinates quite quickly, with an average of 5 to 7 days.
