This yellow tagetes produces tiny flowers that bloom so profusely that they look like clouds. This species is often used to control soil nematodes. Blooms all summer long.
Sowing instructions
African or Tagetes germinates smoothly. Preferably do not cover the seeds with a layer of soil, as they are light germinators. Place the seeds shallowly on the soil, press lightly and keep moist, but not wet. Pre-sow in pots or seed trays, or sow directly in the garden. Tagetes germinates after an average of 5 to 7 days.
