Pumpkin 'Blue Hubbard'

Very cute, medium-sized pumpkin that looks somewhat like a ribbed rugby ball. The colour is grey-green, the flesh then yellow/orange. Nice nutty flavour. Average of 5 fruits per plant crawling on the ground.
Sowing instructions
Pumpkins are dark germinators and should be put into the soil about 3 centimetres deep. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Pre-sow in pots, leave them in them as they do not like to be transplanted. Or sow them directly in the garden after the frosts. Watch out for snails, they eat the young plants.
