A beautiful nightshade with salmon-pink flowers that are good for moths. The flowers open in the late afternoon, bloom all night and close again when the sun rises.
Sowing instructions
Mirabilis is a light germinator that may be covered with a layer of soil on a very limited basis. Pre-sow in trays or seed trays and preferably in a warm place. They need heat to germinate. Sowing outdoors can be done from late April and early May, temperatures permitting. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Allow for a germination time of 14 days on average.
