From this picking flower, you don't use the flowers, but rather the small fruit principles. After all, you can let these dry and use them in (dried) bouquets.
Sowing instructions
Silene is a light germinator. You better not cover the seeds with a layer of soil for this reason. Sow them shallowly over the soil and press lightly. Keep moist, but not wet. You can pre-sow silene in pots or seed trays, but you can also get started in the garden.
