Tuscan palm cabbage 'Nero di Toscana'
Tuscan palm cabbage is an all-time favourite of mine. Firm leafy cabbage whose leaves you pick from the bottom to the top. They do indeed look like palm trees. Tasty taste, healthy plants.
Sowing instructions
Palm cabbage is a dark germinator. So the seeds may be covered with a layer of soil. Pre-sow in seed trays or seedling trays, or sow in situ in the vegetable garden. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Cabbage germinates quite easily in good conditions, usually after 7 to 10 days.
