Capuchin 'Blue-shocker'

Delicious pea with striking purple pods. This breed is also known as capuchin. Blooms with purple flowers. Of this vegetable, you eat only the seeds, not the pods. The plant needs a climbing frame.

Peas and mangetout are easy to sow. They are dark germinators, so you may cover the thick seeds with a layer of soil. Push the seeds into the soil, press lightly and keep moist, but not wet. The first seeds germinate after only a few days.
