Sowing instructions
Sunflowers are easy germinators. They are dark germinators, so you can press the seeds slightly into the soil, covering them with some earth. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. You can start them in trays or pots, but you can also sow them directly outside from the end of April and the beginning of May. Tip: stagger the sowing periods. Sow some in May, some in June, and finally a last batch in July. This way, you'll have flowers all summer long, until the first frost arrives.
