An annual climber that produces purple bell-shaped flowers. Blooms in our areas from late August until the first night frost. Lay the seeds on their side when you put them in the ground. This results in better germination because stagnant moisture then cannot cause moulds.
Sowing instructions
This Cobaea or bellweed has large, flat seeds. Place the seeds on their side in the soil and push them a little deeper. This way, no moisture remains on the seeds and they will not go mouldy. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Put the seeds in a warm place, which they need to germinate smoothly.
