Sponge cucumber 'Luffa'
You must have tried this sponge cucumber. After you peel the dried fruit, a spongy texture emerges. The plant needs a lot of heat and therefore grows better in the greenhouse.
Sowing instructions
Luffas or sponge cucumbers are dark cucumbers that you may plug 3 to 4 centimetres deep. Pre-sow in pots or seed trays and keep in a warm place. They need heat to germinate. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Grow them preferably in the greenhouse, that's where they grow best.
