This Japanese small pumpkin is a treat for the eyes. Beautiful, ribbed fruits that take on a grey/orange haze during ripening. Very tasty taste, good storage squash.
Sowing instructions
Pumpkins are dark germinators and should be put into the soil about 3 centimetres deep. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Pre-sow in pots, leave them in them as they do not like to be transplanted. Or sow them directly in the garden after the frosts. Watch out for snails, they eat the young plants.
