    Mustard leaf is a cabbage crop whose young leaves you eat. The flavour is spicy and sweet. You can pick individual leaves, or wait to harvest heads. Ideal plant for winter and spring.

    Sowing instructions
    Mustard leaf, also known as mustard lettuce, is a light germinator. The seeds may be covered with a very thin layer of soil. Better still is to distribute the seeds superficially and press lightly, ensuring contact with the substrate. Mustard leaf is not a lettuce, but it is related to cabbage. You can pre-sow in trays or seed trays, or sow directly in situ.
