Sowing instructions
Cosmos is a light germinator that you can cover with a thin layer of soil. You can push the seeds, which are elongated, vertically into the ground. Not completely, you want a part to remain above the soil. A handy tip if you're pre-sowing. If you sow directly in the open ground, it's often enough to scatter the seeds over the soil, press lightly, and then keep them moist but not wet. On average, the first seeds germinate after 5 to 7 days.
