    You must have tried this sponge cucumber. After you have peeled the dried fruits, a spongy structure appears. The plant needs a lot of warmth and therefore grows better in the greenhouse.

    Sowing instructions
    Luffa's or sponge cucumbers are dark germinators that you can put 3 to 4 centimeters deep. Sow in pots or seed trays and keep them in a warm place. They need warmth to germinate. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Grow them preferably in a greenhouse, where they grow best.
