Cucumber weed
From cucumber herb, also known as borage, you can eat the blue or white flowers. The leaves are also edible and possess a slight cucumber flavour. In addition, the plant is highly sought after by bees and bumblebees.
Sowing instructions
Cucumberweed is a light germinator. You better not cover the seeds with a layer of soil unless very fine. Press lightly so that there is contact with the substrate, keep moist but not wet and wait about 7 to 10 days. That's when the first seeds germinate, after all. You can pre-sow, or sow directly in the open ground.
