    Hardy plant with edible leaves. Delicious in salads, but can also be used with meat, fish and vegetable dishes. Blooms with white-pink flowering spikes, which can also be dried.

    Pimpernel is a light germinator, so the seeds should not be covered by a layer of soil. This is because they need light to germinate. Pre-sow in trays, pots or seed trays, or go straight outdoors. Keep the soil moist, but not wet.
