These purple-red sprouts are slightly sweeter than the green varieties. Very decorative and distinctive. The sprouts are late and perfectly hardy. The purple colour is retained after cooking.
Sowing instructions
Sprouts cabbage is a dark-germinator. So you may cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Pre-sow in seed trays or seedling trays, or get straight to work in the open ground. Keep the seeds moist, but not wet. Cabbage germinates after just 7 to 10 days on average under the right conditions.
