Sowing Instructions
Scabiosa, or pincushion flower, is a light germinator. So, you don't cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Place the seeds, which resemble tiny badminton shuttlecocks, on the ground, press them gently, and water. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Sow in pots or seed trays, or directly in the open ground. Scabiosa germinates in about 7 to 10 days under the right conditions.
