Head lettuce 'Pirat
Old variety, very good production. Best known for its buttery flavour and nice colour. Green with a red blush. Easy to grow, even in a pot or container on your patio or balcony.
Sowing instructions
Lettuce has very small seeds and is a light germinator for this reason. So you sow the seeds shallowly, without covering them with a layer of soil. Press lightly so there is contact with the substrate and keep moist, but not wet. Lettuce sprouts quickly, after just a few days.
