




Chili pepper 'Padron'
Piemento Padron has its origins in western Spain. It is a green, mild pepper that is good to eat and also very popular with BBQ lovers. Good grower, with a slight preference for the greenhouse.
Sowing instructions
Peppers and peppers are cold-weather plants. They like to be warm on their feet. Put them near a heating element, heat mat or underfloor heating, if applicable. In theory, they are light germinators and may have a thin layer of seedling soil over them (soil also lets some light through). Keep the soil moist but not wet and, if necessary, use a greenhouse or cover to put over the seeds. Then it will stay warm and moist inside, something that will promote germination.
