Alcea 'Lene'
Annual hollyhock which, after sowing in March, flowers as early as the same summer. Flower colour ranges from white to light and dark pink. Coveted by bumblebees and bees and also beautiful in the garden.
Sowing instructions
One annual hollyhock should be sown in early spring so that you will see flowers that same year. Hollyhock is a light germinator. So you better not cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Instead, lay the seeds shallowly, pressing lightly so there is contact with the substrate and making sure the soil stays moist - not wet. Give the seeds some time, they take an average of 2-3 weeks to germinate.
