The tastiest parsnips on the market, if you ask me. Sweet, nutty and a tad spicy: the ideal autumn crop. Good structure and resistant to cold spells. Requires low nutrient soil.
Sowing instructions
Pasta is a light germinator. So it is better not to cover the seeds with a thick layer of soil. Press lightly and water. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Parsnips do not like to be transplanted, so sow directly in the garden. The seeds germinate, depending on temperature, after an average of 10 to 14 days.
