Foeniculum vulgare 'smokey'

Fennel is a light germinator. So you should not cover the seeds with a layer of soil. Spread the seeds shallowly over the soil and press lightly. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Fennel germinates relatively quickly, with about 7 to 10 days.
