    This butternut squash is open pollinated, as the English say so nicely. Very nice taste and medium to large fruits. Ideal for storing, the taste even gets better if you leave the fruit.

    Sowing instructions
    Pumpkins are dark germinators and can be planted about 3 centimetres deep in the ground. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. Sow in pots, leave them in there, because they do not like to be pricked out. Or sow them directly in the open ground after the Ice Saints. Watch out for snails, they like the young plants.
