Bush bean 'Purple Queen'
This bush bean produces intense purple green beans that lose their colour after cooking and turn dark green. Very productive and a particularly delicious, mild flavour. Alternate sowing times for a staggered harvest.
Sowing instructions
Beans should not be sown too early, they are prone to frost. Sowing from late April and early May is ideal. You can either pre-sow them in pots or seed trays, or sow them directly in the open ground, after the icing season. Then keep in mind that beans rot quickly. Wait for a dry period to sow. Put the seeds about 3 to 4 centimetres deep into the soil.
