Tomato 'San Marzano'
A real roma tomato like the nonnas from Italy prefer them for making sauce preparations. Very productive and quite large fruits. Great for soup and sauces. Late greenhouse variety. Must be threshed.
Sowing instructions
Tomatoes are light germinators that, unlike many others, you may cover with a thin layer of soil. After all, soil also lets a little light through. Pre-sow from March, not earlier. Do so in seed trays, pots or seedling trays. Keep moist, but not wet. Tomatoes germinate quickly at 18 to 20 °C, usually after 5 to 7 days.
