    This Penstemon, also called snakehead, has coral-pink flowers. Beautiful in the border, but also suitable for picking. Perennial that returns every year.

    Penstemon is a light germinator. You don't cover the seeds with soil, as they need sunlight to germinate. Pre-sow in pots or seed trays, or go straight outdoors. Keep the soil moist, but not wet.
