Lavatera trimestris 'Loveliness'
Dark pink cupermalva that stays quite low, but is large enough to pick from. Lovely bouquet flower, but also a fine garden plant. Flowers very profusely until the first night frost.
Sowing instructions
Lavatera is a light germinator. For this reason, the seeds should not be covered with a layer of soil. Lay the seeds shallowly, press lightly and water. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. You can pre-sow lavatera, or wait until after the ice saints in May. The seeds need heat to germinate. The first seedlings appear after an average of 10 to 12 days.
